Publication in SAZ

My favorite German magazine, the Scrap Art Zine, has published two of my creations.

Thanks so much Andrea and Jana for  considering my work once again.
Your magazine really rocks the scrap world!

Stampers' Sampler April/May 2012

This is my entry for the upcoming issue of the Stampers' Sampler magazine, one of my favorites ;)

I created this card with Pan Pastels, they blend beautifully and give the card a very soft touch.

It alway tickles me to see my creations published!

Here  are two more I created for the magazine:

Creative Chemistry 101 - Day 5

Finally my most favorite medium: Distress Stain, I just love it and need MORE colours ;)

This is my tag using the UNITY butterflies again.

Day 3 at Creative Chemistry 101

I really enjoyed this technique, I just used the wrong paper ... an order for glossy paper is out and on the way across the pond ;) That was the purpose of it, wasn't it? I really need some new toys!

Creative Chemistry Day 2

So many techniques to learn from the Master ... ;)

I decided to do the tags only and embellish them later as I don't know their purpose yet.
One I already finished.

This is what I "learned" the second day ...

YIPEEH!

I am so proud to be a selected member to the design team at My Sketch World again. This is my family and I'm honored to be part of the wonderful team!

I'm looking forward to another challenging term with our "Chief" Lucy Chesna, she's simply the best!

NOW I will have a great weekend ;)

Cookie

I combined 4 challenges at our *My Sketch World* forum in this layout:
  • Use 4 border punches
  • Use Banners
  • Create a pet layout
  • Create a layout with a close up picture
Due to the fact that I'm still a bit disabled I created just one layout which took me almost 2 days to finish. Again I had to wait for the little helpers to cut etc.

I used BasicGrey *Max&Whiskers*, one of my favorite pet papers.

And since her and her sister are ALWAYS in my heart, I also enter this layout into the challenge at the City Crafters Challenge Blog!

This is *HER*

I still use my pretty old Canon printer and bought some new *CANON MATTE PHOTO PAPER* last week. The results are amazing. Can you see that she bent one of her whiskers with her paw?

This is a little larger:

And this is my layout:

Ready for some bragging?

Good news before the weekend starts.
Three of my cards were published in the current issue of TAKE TEN

It was a sketch challenge with lots of fun to work with. Here are my cards:

You all have a good weekend now!

12 Tags of 2012 - February

I know, I know, just running a little behind ;)

I wasn't going to do this "12 Tags of 2012" thing at all, but I have some spare time on my hands and I just love to try out new techniques (New to me!).

This is also small enough for me to hold without assistance!

So I created this tag using the technique the master introduced in February for the Valentine's tag. I will do this more often, it creates a beautiful texture and looks quite professional ... to me ;)

You all have a great start into the new week!

Vintage Tag

Well, being in a cast gives me time to play.

I was inspired by Tammy (I'm ALWAYS inspired by her!)  to create this tag. Of course I had to skip a lot of steps due to working one handed, but I still like the outcome of my tag.

DH had to tie the seam binding around the whole thing, I think he did a pretty good job, I might hire him for more .....

Week 98 - EXTRA, EXTRA!

For the extra day in February the ladies at CCCB asked for Extra ;)

The challenge is to use 2 or more ribbons on the project and 9 or more words.

This is my card.
I kept it rather simple as I still work with one hand :(

The design paper is MME *On the bright Side*.the image from *Queen's dresser drawers*, the sentiment Stampin' UP.

Have a good weekend you all!

12 Tags of 2012 - March

Since I still can't do too much with my wrist in the cast, I decided to do some smaller things and follow samples and instructions :)

I can't cut, so I used an EK Success punch and used the parts I usually throw away for my mosaic. Other than that I pretty much followed the master :)

I used my woodgrain stamp from P&S, a sentiment from Dovecraft and some stained seam binding.
